Joey Disco is a second generation DJ as his father spent several years on many radio stations in the late 70's and early 80's including WBLM. Joey was born and raised in Lewiston, ME where he gained little to no street cred. Joey spent several years as a toddler in radio studios watching hippies press buttons and spin records. It must have really left a mark. That led to a mediocre high school run where Joey's love of alternative grunge and professional wrestling resulted in him rocking a bowl cut for 2 consecutive years (seriously!). Joey decided to start new and pursued a higher education at the University of Southern Maine. These college years were marked with Joey being kicked off campus, not making the deans list and also a professor calling him a tool. But they were formative years and the results were a promising radio career and a less promising nickname of Joey Disco. From there, Joey landed the coveted overnight weekend shifts on WCYY and somehow, years and years later, he's worked himself all the way to the regular evening slot. He calls it Night Fever (seriously!) Join him for his awful program from 6pm-12am Monday through Friday and don't forget about the Saturday Morning Recovery Program (Thanks Wendell Gee!) each and every Saturday starting at 7am.
