Does Maine Rank in the Top 10 Best States For Hippies? Duh…

Back in November Travel & Leisure named Portland, Maine as the #9 best city for hipsters. That didn't come as a shock to many. The only thing shocking about it as that we weren't higher on the list.

Well how about good old fashioned hippies? Did our far out, groovy state of Maine make the top 10. Absolutely! In fact, there was only one state to beat us. If you guessed Mississippi, we're disappointed. The honors to go our neighbors to the west, and we can't really complain. Thanks Phish.
