Bob Dylan has been named the 2015 MusiCares Person of the Year. The legendary singer and songwriter will be honored at a gala dinner and all star tribute concert, featuring performances from Eddie Vedder, the Black KeysJack White and more.

The MusiCares Person of the Year event will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2015. The ceremony helps raise money for MusiCares, which “ensures that music people have a place to turn in times of financial, medical and personal need.” Beck, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Neil Young and more will also perform paying tribute to ten-time Grammy winner Bob Dylan, who has left an indelible mark in music history over the past 50 years.

Bob Dylan has released over 35 albums over his long career and is considered  one of the greatest American songwriters in history writing classics like ‘Blowin’ in the Wind,' ‘They Times They Are-a-Chagin’ and ‘Like a Rolling Stone.” In 2002, a diverse group of artists recorded a four-disc set titled ‘Chimes of Freedom,’ featuring cover songs of the socially conscious artist, to honor his 50th year in music and to raise money for Amnesty International. The effort features tracks from Queens of the Stone Age, Rise Against, My Chemical Romance, Cage the Elephant and more.

Dylan joins Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Bono, Sting, James Taylor and more as artists named MusiCares Person of the Year.

In the meantime, Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam will kick off their fall tour in Cincinnati, Ohio on Oct. 1. Jack White wraps his U.S. tour in Columbia, S.C. tonight (Sept. 24) and the Black Keys are out on their ‘Turn Blue World Tour’ performing in Washington D.C. tomorrow (Sept. 25).

The 2015 MusiCares Person of the Year concert will take place Feb. 6 , 2015, in Los Angeles. The event takes place two days before the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, which will beam out live on Feb. 8, 2015 on CBS at 8 PM ET/PT.
