With our 90's weekend rolling all weekend long, right through your Monday, I figured let's parade some 90's video around here at wcyy.com Here's the first installment!

NIRVANA in bloom... love the throwback style and the flashes of choas

WEEZER buddy holly... easily one of the greatest videos of all time. Hands down. The authentic look Spize Jonze produced & directed here is still to this day, remarkable.

RADIOHEAD just... like radiohead themselves, the video was a head scratcher and brilliant. First time I saw it I was kinda blown away.

FOO FIGHTERS big me... Cool Mentos rip off. Silly. FF made many memorable videos

FAITH NO MORE last cup of sorrow... Homerun in many ways. Well they're my fav band so that's a start. The homage to the Alfred Hitchcock movie, Vertigo is so spot on. Jennifer Jason Leigh in the lead role? I'll sign up for that any day of the week and twice on Sunday!

LOCAL H all the kids are right... So great! Only two guys in the band, only two guys in the video playing every part. Killer song to boot.

BEASTIE BOYS sabotage... nothing needed to say, Beasties Boys win every time.

THE PHARCYDE drop... video was directed by Spike Jonze and was shot in reverse. It looks normal, but they filmed everything in reverse. They walked backwards, jumped backwards, even the lyrics were said backwards. No joke. AMAZING! Nice Beastie Boy cameos too.

SMASHING PUMPKINS tonight tonight... I really don't need to ever hear this song again I'll be honest and I like the Pumpkins. I mean for a few more years after this phase. This is a gorgeously filmed video though. Groundbreaking for sure.

NINE INCH NAILS march of the pigs... Love this video, love this song. It was a live performance for the video. Raw, no BS, early Nails... perfect.

BECK where it's at... lots to look at and try to figure out. Then you realize, just enjoy it!

BLIND MELON no rain... great song, although it annoys me cause I don't like the Grateful Dead even in the slightest bit. I LOVE this band though and their records and I miss Shannon Hoon. I think he could have been a long run, legendary singer. This vidoe though, maybe one of the Top 5 videos that put a visual to the 90's music world.
