Halloween Costumes… The Fun, The Funny and the Not Really For Kids

Went through a couple of stores last week. So many places with costume stuff. Maybe too much stuff...?

Hey... there wasn't a Miss Scissorhands!!! She totally looks like Siouxsie Sioux though and that's absolutely acceptable to me really.

Not sure about those for kids...

I don't have kids yet, but I was kinda surprised to see some of the offerings for younger people. I mean, giving a 8-10 year old a Jason outfit basically with a butcher's knife? Or the murderous scarecrow? 

Hey I'm no prude or Mr. Rogers, but when it comes to kids, I think you think a bit more perhaps? This one doesn't look like a cute Care Bear to me. It looks like a "who's been a naughty boy" meets Furry thing going on here. I mean, look at her leg and hand on the waist and is that skirt riding a bit high for a young girl? Crazy slutness going on here.  

Yeah.... no. Sorry. Not gonna have my kid walking up to doors as a poo.

Now we're talking. That's funny stuff right there!

Another clever one and really how awesome is it to invite another person into your role playing dress up thing. That could turn out to be a fun stationary geology get together!

Anyone else tired of the "bacon" phase? We all love bacon. Always have. (well, many of us) What's with this bacon thing? Not sure this is gonna do the trick at any party.

Just not sure this is cool. I don't know. They had the "athlete" version too so you could go together I guess. Odd. Maybe over the line some.

I guess "Wet Hot American Summer" caught on. Watch out for this guy on the dance floor though. Hey now!
