Have You Sent A Text to the Subject Instead of the Recipient?

I feel like it's happened to most of us, at least once. Here's one of my embarrassing moments. I was meeting a couple one evening to discuss details on DJ'ing their upcoming wedding. I was acquaintances with both of them at the time. Earlier that day I sent a text to, who I thought was a buddy. I think it read "Guess who I get to stare at tonight? I mean MEET UP with to discuss the wedding?" Harmless text right? Well, I sent it right to that person I was texting about. Yup, pretty embarrassing.

Take that extra second to make sure you know who you're sending texts to because once that send button is pressed, it's gone! I since became good friends with the bride and groom and they make fun of me for it now. Has this happened to you? What did you say and who did you send it to?
