MTV Killed the Video Star [VIDEO]

Ironic isn't? The station that birthed the music video phenomenon would eventually kill off the parade. So why in 2014 should they host a "Video Music Awards" show? For what? Videos they don't play? Thinking of better times of days past, here are just some of my favorite videos!
