New Kurt Cobain Album Almost Ready for Release

According to the director of the HBO Cobain Documentary, A Montage of Heck, this record will be like you're hanging out with Kurt back in the day.  

Its always a shaky subject when new releases come out featuring music from musicians no longer with us. We love to get anything we can from them, but it's also a bit uneasy too. Who benefits? Should record labels benefit? Should their unfinished stuff come out if the artist didn't want people to hear it (see Jeff Buckey). Lots of questions.

Questions aside for now, the details sound very interesting. According to Brett Morgen director of Montage of Heck in a discussion with SPIN, "You're gonna hear him do things you'd never expect to come out of him".
