Perhaps the Greatest Music Documentary Ever [VIDEO]

To honor Rodney Bingenheimer's birthday today, I wanted to share this trailer with you all who may have never seen "The Mayor of Sunset Strip". Who you say? All the reason to watch this trailer NOW! 

For me, there aren't many more as important to radio then Rodney Bingenheimer. He's basically the first specialty DJ, new music host, local music supporter. He helped create the LA Sunset Strip scene. His impact and involvement on music in various ways is pretty much unmatched. He brought Blondie, the Sex Pistols, the Cars, Ramones, Cheap Trick, Beck, Devo, Oasis, Joan Jett, No Doubt, Coldplay, the GoGo's, Nirvana, Green Day and many more to the radio. He brought David Bowie to the US of A! Bowie's first US performance ever was playing some tunes solo whilst sitting on a bed at a party throw by Rodney in LA.

He should EASILY be in the rock n Roll Hall of Fame, but we know how much of a crock that whole deal is anyways.

Trust me, if you're a music fan this documentary will blow you away. To be honest, if the trailer doesn't blow you away then forget it all together...
