Portland Protesters Rally Against Israeli Gaza Invasion [PHOTOS]

Dozens of Portland area residents staged a rally in Monument Square Friday afternoon to protest Israel's invasion of the Gaza Strip after Hamas leaders rejected a truce.

The protesters were part of a group called Maine Voices for Palestinian Rights and they spent more than an hour assailing the violence in the region caused by the ongoing hostilities between Israel and Hamas.

They also lined Congress Street and greeted passing motorists with chants like, "Stop Killing Children." Here are some photos from the protest rally:
