Sleater-Kinney Play 23 Songs at Their First Show Since 2006
On the heels of their eighth studio album, 'No Cities to Love,' hitting the streets, Sleater-Kinney have officially taken to the road. Last night (Feb. 8), while the rest of the country was watching the Grammys, 'Walking Dead' or, you know, reading, fans at the Knitting Factory in Spokane were rocking out with the iconic punk rockers.
Opening with 'Price Tag' from 'No Cities to Love,' Sleater-Kinney dedicated eight tunes from their 23-song set to the new record. They also rocked a number of fan favorites, like 'Dig Me Out,' 'I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone' and the show closer, 'Modern Girl.'
Sleater-Kinney are back at Spokane's Knitting Factory tonight, followed by a number of dates across North America and Europe. Check out their full itinerary here. While you wait to catch them live, check out their full setlist below -- it marks their first show since playing the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Ore., on Aug. 12, 2006:
