The Boston Red Sox continued to have a busy Tuesday at the MLB Winter Meetings and have reportedly traded for ace left handed pitcher Chris Sale from the Chicago White Sox.

Sale is 74-50 in his career with the White Sox over seven seasons and he had a 17-10 record with an ERA of 3.34 in 2016.  The lefty was fifth in the Cy Young voting last season.

Moncada is viewed as the best prospect in the Red Sox organization, but the Cuban struggled hitting just .211 in eight games with the major league squad.  Kopech tops the pitching side of things in the organization and possesses a fastball that consistently hits 100 miles per hour.

With Sale coming to Boston, he joins reigning Cy Young winner Rick Porcello, David Price, Eduardo Rodriguez, Steven Wright, and Drew Pomeranz as starters on the team.
