The Worst Start for SxSw 2014

This footage was taken shortly after the happenings last night in Austin, Texas. It might be a bit shocking for some to see, fair warning.

Just as the music portion of the 2014 South By Southwest Conference really kicked off last night, tragedy struck. Reports at the time are a motorist who was pulled over for a traffic violation, escaped police and sped down a highly populated street. The results are unfortunately deadly. At the time I post this two are reported dead, five in critical condition and up to twenty were badly injured. Luckily the suspect was taken into custody.

(side note) I do have many good friends down there this week. I do hope they're all ok. I'll be checking in with as many as I can today.
