http://loudwire.com/most-anticipated-rock-metal-albums-2015/Isn't it a bit strange to think Tool, who released their first album in 1993, hasn't released their 5th album yet. The gaps seem to have gotten bigger and bigger over the years. I saw one report that said the album is done and as of recent, one that says the band is still crafting the work. A post on the Tool Facebook page states that guitarist Adam Jones came up with an "ending for a new Tool arrangement" which the other members are pumped about.

Tool's fifth full-length is up there as one of the most anticipated albums of the year. 2015 will mark nine years since their last album  '10,000 Days.'

Tool published the following message via Facebook on Jan. 12:

Starting the New Year off on a positive note, ADAM arrives at the LOFT with an ending for a new TOOL arrangement and gets the nod of approval by the others. As long as they don't start with the ending, that's good news!
