Where Do You Stand With the Death Penalty [POLL]

The Marathon Bombing verdict has, no surprise, has brought the question back to dinner tables everywhere. The Death Penalty, yes or no. What are your feelings? 

It maybe hard to do, but try not to focus on today's verdict in Boston here...

What is your take on the death penalty? Our country always seems to be split on this topic. Some people say in some situations it makes sense. Some say it never makes sense to take a life, proving that taking a life is wrong.

According to wikipedia, Since the death penalty was reauthorized in 1976, 1,386 people have been executed, almost exclusively by the states, with most occurring after 1990. Texas has accounted for over one-third of modern executions. Oklahoma is the state with the second-highest number.
