Every few weeks, we get word that another Mainer has gone missing.  In most cases, these missing people are teenagers, and fortunately, they almost always turn up within a few days are weeks.

Sometimes, however, this is not the case.

In fact, the Maine State Police currently have 33 missing persons cases open, as of January 2021.

Some of these cases date back as far as the mid-1960s.  Sadly, at this point, nearly 60 years later, there's little chance of these people being found alive.  But, then again, stranger things have happened.

What follows are the profiles of missing Maine women.  Please, take the time to read through them.  Hopefully, you know something that will help law enforcement locate these people.

Of course, one of the most notorious missing persons cases in Maine is that of Ayla Reynolds.  She went missing from the home of her father in December of 2011.  You can read more about that case HERE.
