If you've driven on Route 302/Roosevelt Trail in Windham lately, you've probably noticed something new flying high in the sky.

Camping World recently acquired the former Lee's Family Trailer Sales and Service at 480 Roosevelt Trail in Windham and one of the things that they added to the property was a super tall flag pole to raise a ginormous American flag on.

The flag can be seen as you approach Camping World from either direction, and if you're heading east, you'll get a nice view of it over the treetops as you head down the hill.

These shots taken from the Tractor Supply parking lot next door demonstrate just how large Old Glory is as it looms high over the campers below. The flag is currently at half staff in Honor of Former Vice President Walter Mondale who passed away on April 19 at the age of 93. Even at its lower height, it's hard to miss and really grabs your attention.

Because of its size, it seems to wave in the air in slow motion, even on a windy day like the one these pictures were taken on where winds were gusting to 20 miles per hour.

If you look at the photos closely, you'll see lights on the ground pointed up at the flag, allowing it to fly 24 hours a day complying with Federal Flag Code. That's a good thing, because it must be quite a job to raise and lower a flag this size, say nothing about properly folding it for storage when not flying.
