The Black Keys Return to Portland, Maine, This Fall
It has been one bumpy ride for The Black Keys over the past couple of years.
In 2024, The Black Keys seemed poised to tour the country behind a new album. Instead, the Black Keys management team pushed for the band to play in larger venues, a plan that proved foolhardy thanks to poor ticket sales.
According to Guitar.com, the Black Keys ended up canceling their entire 2024 tour and parted ways with their management.
If that wasn't enough, Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach retreated home to take care of his ailing father who passed away early in 2025.
The combination of that personal and professional pain has somehow fueled The Black Keys.
The band will release a new album and embark on a nationwide tour to places they love.
