2-Day Music Festival Arrives at Old Airport in Turner, Maine

As the summer concert season winds down in Maine, people begin to search for those last few shows that feature fun and fresh air before being cooped up for the winter.

It's possible you haven't heard or didn't realize there is a 2-day music festival coming to the old Twitchell airport in Turner, Maine, near the end of September.

The two day event will bring country and alternative acts to the stage will plenty more to explore and experience.

The Runaway Music Festival in Turner, Maine, Will Feature Country Acts on Friday

To kick off the Runaway Music Festival on Friday, September 25, there will four acts hitting the stage.

The headliner will be Bryan Martin, known as an outlaw country singer/songwriter. Also taking the stage that Friday night will be Cole Barnhill, the Chase Jobe Band and rising hip hop talent The Real Young Swagg.

Gates open at 4pm for Friday night while the tailgating parking lot and on-site food trucks will be available at 2pm.

Sister Hazel and Marcy Playground Headline Day 2 of the Music Festival in Turner, Maine

Day two of the Runaway Music Festival in Turner, Maine, will close out with a pair of familiar names across multiple music genres.

Sister Hazel will take the stage for the finale of the festival on Saturday, September 26. Also taking the stage that night will be Marcy Playground, Toby McAllister and The Sierra Sounds as well as Sorry Safari.

Gates open at 2pm for Saturday's performances while the tailgating parking lot and on-site food trucks will be available at noon.
