The Holy Donut

The Holy Donut is a donut lovers destination here in Maine. The donuts are unique in that they are potato-based, made from scratch, and made with primarily local ingredients.

While these donuts are coveted year-round, there is something truly special about the fall line-up.

Pumpkinhead

When you hear "Pumpkinhead" you likely think of the Shipyard beer, right? Of course, you do! Well, Shipyard and The Holy Donut have teamed up for another year of their Pumpkin Spice donut featuring Shipyard's Pumpkinhead!

The base to this donut is made with sweet potato and the glaze on top is infused with Pumpkinhead beer and the special Pumpkinhead Rimmer. It's a must-have for pumpkin and beer fans alike. You will only find this donut through November 24th. And keep in mind, once The Holy Donut is out of a flavor for the day, you'll have to wait until the next day.

Apple Donuts

There is an age-old debate over the superior autumn flavor; pumpkin or apple? Well if pumpkin isn't your flavor of choice, The Holy Donut has 3 different apple creations for you to choose from. Caramel Apple, Apple Cider (also available in gluten-free), and Apple Cinnamon Sugar. The apple trio will also be available through November 24th.

Holy Donut locations can be found in Portland, Scarborough, and Auburn.
