Another New England bar/restaurant is permanently closing.

Bad news for the fans of the popular TV show "Cheers": The once–upon–a–time, jam–packed replica bar at Faneuil Hall Marketplace is shutting its doors, due to COVID-19. That's according to News Center Maine, who says an unhelpful landlord as played into the decision to close the place. The owner, Tom Kershaw, reportedly said in an interview that the "lack of help from the landlord made the current challenge insurmountable."

Cheers at Faneuil Hall Marketplace has been in business for 20 years. The bar is reportedly closing on August 30th, 2020. It is located at 111 South Market Street in Boston, Massachusetts.
