Want to enjoy summer on the cheap? Craigslist is bursting at the seams with free items for your warm weather fun. Are they all in perfect working order? Probably not. Will you have to repair some items? I'm gonna say yes. Does the free section on Craigslist sometimes contain weird crap that belongs in the dump? Most definitely. Here's a sampling of the offerings on Craigslist's free section right now.

Get Grilling

With a little elbow grease and a few parts, you could have your burgers and steaks sizzling for the next cookout. This stainless steel grill is free for the taking. It's former owners said, "For someone who's handy and who doesn't mind re-outfitting this could make an excellent grill. It was awesome for us."

Work On Your Summer Bod

The piece has been used lightly since purchase. Unit was just moved into the garage to make it convenient to haul away.

Stay Cool

This air conditioner functions but has a few quirks. The former owners explained, "The minute you plug it in, the compressor is running. This is fine if you just put it on FAN mode as it will cool just fine, but it no longer regulates a certain temperature and you must unplug it if you want it to shut off, otherwise the coil freezes up with the fan off."

I'm On a (Free) Boat

Will it stay above water in it's current state? No clue. This is the perfect boat for someone who knows how to rebuilt a boat and trailer.

There's nothing like going off the grid in the summer in Maine. This camper still has some life in it. The previous owners will even help you load it!
