Dashboard Confessional Coming to Portland, Maine, in April
For many years, Dashboard Confessional made Portland, Maine, a consistent stop on whatever tour they happen to be performing.
The band has played multiple venues in the city, including a pair of memorable shows at the now defunct Maine State Pier stage.
Dashboard Confessional was set to return to Portland in 2021 for a show at the State Theatre.
According to the Portland Press Herald, that show was cancelled due to concerns over the Covid-19 virus and was never rescheduled.
Fast forward five years later and Dashboard Confessional will return to Portland, Maine, as well as the State Theatre again.

Dashboard Confessional Also Appears to Be Working on New Music
While touring last year, Dashboard Confessional found some time to record new music. Late last summer, the band released a pair of new songs as a tease for a forthcoming album.
That album doesn't have a name nor a release date as of this writing. It would be the follow up to All The Truth That I Can Tell, an acoustic flavor album that was the last full length release from Dashboard Confessional.
