Do You Know Any of These 5 New Englanders Competing on Season 45 of ‘Survivor’?

It's always a fun game when anywhere in New England gets national television exposure considering we're such a small area. Physically it may not be very small, but chances are you know somebody who knows somebody, am I right?

"Survivor" as a '90s kid was insane. Who else remembers this show? Can you believe it began all the way back in 2000?

The television program has come pretty far since then as they close in on the 45th season which dropped on September 27 via CBS, so you're not too late.

There are seventeen new contestants this year, all competing for the million-dollar prize (oh, and the title of sole Survivor) but who cares about that once you're waving around your stack of hundreds.

Among those seventeen new contestants are five from our own land, and I wonder if you might happen to know any of them.

"The cast includes a marine-turned-truck driver, a critical care nurse, a school principal, a therapist, an investment analyst, and three lawyers. It also features the return of Bruce Perreault, who was medically evacuated just minutes into the previous season when he hit his head on a beam during the opening challenge."
