WCYY Presents Dropkick Murphys at The State Theatre in February

The boys are back and they're looking for trouble.

Each year as spring approaches, the Dropkick Murphy's hit the road to tour throughout New England in celebration of St. Patrick's Day.

2026 will be no exception as the band is planning more than a dozen shows in the region including a stop at the State Theater in Portland, Maine, on Monday, February 9.

Dropkick Murphy's Announce 'For The People in the Pit' 2026 Tour

If you follow the Dropkick Murphy's closely, you've likely already heard about the 'For The People in the Pit' tour.

The band took to social media last week to announce their Boston-based dates encircling St. Patrick's Day 2026.

That will include three big dates in March at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway before a smaller celebration at the House of Blues Boston on St. Patrick's Day.

Following that announcement, they've added additional dates to the tour in places where the Dropkick Murphy's enjoy visiting and playing live.

That includes Portland, where WCYY proudly presents the Dropkick Murphy's live at the State Theatre on February 9.
