Foo Fighters + Lumineers + Paramore to Headline Boston Calling 2023

Unlike in prior years, the Boston Calling Festival announcement for 2023 didn't come with a ton of hype. Instead, festival organizers quietly unveiled their trio of headliners for the Memorial Day weekend bash. That includes the first announced Foo Fighters performance for the year.

Friday, May 26

Foo Fighters announced on New Year's Eve that they would continue forward as a band despite losing longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins. Foo Fighters were a listed headliner for the 2022 Boston Calling Festival before Hawkins tragic death. It's unknown at this time whether this will be the first Foo Fighters performance of the year. Also performing on Friday will be the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The National, Niall Horan and TALK amongst others.

Saturday, May 27

The Lumineers will headline Saturday night in a departure from some of the previous weekend headliners like Metallica, Eminem and Nine Inch Nails. The folk superstars had a pile of hits and should provide a singalong soundtrack to close Saturday night. Also performing on Saturday will be Alan's Morissette, making her first Boston appearance in more than a decade. The Flaming Lips, Mt. Joy and Declan McKenna will also take the stage that night.

Sunday, May 28

Paramore will close out Boston Calling 2023 in the Sunday night headline position. Paramore is about to drop their much anticipated sixth studio album with the title track "This is Why" primed to be a #1 at Alternative. Also performing on Sunday is Queens of the Stone Age, returning after a years-long hiatus. Bleachers, Maren Morris and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard will also take the stage on Sunday.

Single day tickets and 3-day passes will on sale Thursday, January 12 at 10am.
