A burst in temperatures and longer days are right around the corner reminding us that summer is on the way. It will soon be time for hiking, camping, beaches, and… outdoor concerts! Although they are still a few months away, the outdoor concert calendar for Maine is already heating up.
On March 2, 2005, the Cumberland County Civic Center (now Cross Insurance Arena) in Portland, Maine, hosted the Taste of Chaos Tour, a groundbreaking event that brought together some of the biggest names in post-hardcore, emo, and metalcore genres.
It was 4th of July weekend 14 years back, and the sun was throwing a tantrum. Temperatures were soaring, but nothing stopped the flow of Mainers and out-of-towners pouring into the Oxford Fairgrounds in Oxford, Maine. They were armed with tents, sunscreen, and a thirst for some serious live music.
This special summer event will showcase the local creative community and feature live music, food, craft vendors, games, farm tours, and 200+ lavender plants.
CYY Madness returns on March 15. Fill out your bracket right now and qualify yourself to win weekend-long passes to Boston Calling featuring Foo Fighters.
The Boston Calling 2023 lineup has officially been announced, and we've got tickets to give away to this fantastic annual Memorial Day Weekend concert.
