Get ready to hear live music wherever you go in Portland on Monday, June 21st. It is Make Music Portland Day. This is part of an international free music day with events happening from New York to Paris. Live performances will happen across the Portland peninsula on Monday, and it's all FREE.  From the Make Music Portland Facebook Page:
The event is open to all ages, genres, styles, and abilities. The idea is that the city of Portland will become alive with music. Performances will take place on city sidewalks, in parks, on patios, and even on your own porch. Anywhere can be a venue as long as it’s outside, anyone can be a performer as long as they love music, and of course, everyone can enjoy this unique day to come together. Musicians and venues are encouraged to pre-register to be part of the event!

One thing we really missed during the pandemic was no live music. Usually, in the summer in Portland, you can hear some sort of live music around every corner. Sometimes it's music coming out of a venue, or it could be one of the many street performers and buskers. We can't wait for Make Music Portland Day!  You can find fall the ree performances on Monday at :

Bell Buoy Park

Fort Allen Park

Lobsterman Park

Monument Square

Moontide Park

Post Office Park
