Do You Know About The Private Racetrack Hidden In New Hampshire?

While it is not true for everyone, a large percentage of the population, both men and women, would love to have the chance to drive a sportscar or racecar on a race track.  A place where they can go as fast as the car will go.

Yeah, you can't deny it!

There is a reason why games like Gran Turismo and Grand Theft Auto, and movies like Fast & Furious are so popular.

But, most of us will never have the chance to have that kind of experience without breaking a bunch of laws, right?  Well, yes and no.

The Hidden Racetrack In The Mountains Of New Hampshire

If you frequently visit the White Mountains of New Hampshire, there is a good chance that you have been by this "hidden" racetrack multiple times.

The Club Motorsports racetrack is just off Route 25 in the town of Tamworth.

The challenging track is 2.5 miles long and has over a dozen turns.  So, if you love to drive, really drive, you'd be in Heaven taking a cruise on this track.  On top of that, it offers drivers some of the most majestic scenery in New England.

The website describes the track as:

15 turns over 2.5 miles with an elevation change of 250 feet. The road course is over 40 feet wide with a mix of long straightaways and left and right turns both uphill and downhill. It is designed to provide a thrilling driving experience, yet built with safety as the top priority.

Pretty wild, eh?

So, How Much Does It Cost?

Yeah, that is always the big question, isn't it?  Well, getting access to this exclusive track is not cheap.

As far as we can tell, you can't just rent the track out.  You need to become a member of the club in order to use the track.

There are several different membership tiers.  The most basic, the bronze package, costs a one-time fee of $15,000 and requires you to pay $2,100 per year in dues.  That plan allows a single person the opportunity to use the track for 10 days per year.

At the other end of the spectrum is the corporate plan.  The initial fee for that is $125,000 and requires that you pay $25,000 in dues per year.  You can have up to six people on the plan and there are 150 member / days available per year.

Of course, if you are lucky enough to be able to afford a vehicle worth driving on the track the fees for using it probably would not be a big deal.  Clearly, you aren't going to be driving your mom's sedan.

What About Karting?

The place also has a special karting track - if that's more your speed.  The initial fee is $3,500 and you'll need to pay a $1,000 annual fee.  The plan allows you to have 150 member / days of karting per season.  And, for a fee, you can bring guests.
