Do you have a favorite TV show?

It's funny, if you barely knew me, you'd automatically assume my favorite TV show of all time was The Simpsons. I have a full Simpsons sleeve tattooed on my arm which, while I agree is a pretty high level of dedication, it's actually not my all-time favorite show. That title will always belong to M*A*S*H. Hands down...

As far as streaming shows, I've watched plenty over the years. Some of my current faves are Letterkenny and Shoresy (practically a set), Only Murders in the Building, and lots of re-runs of Forged in Fire. I'm a creature of habit, so I'm always kind of drawn to shows I've seen before. Mostly because I always find something new in later viewings.

Maine has a favorite Netflix show, but I've definitely never heard of it.

Bookies.com has put out the results of a recent survey, which looked to pinpoint what the favorite Netflix show of each state was. I guess I sort of expected to know what the show was, assuming I'd heard people talk about it at some point. I expected to be immediately familiar with the title...

But, nope. Until today, I'd never heard of the show "One Day". It's some quirky little British show based on a novel, chronicling the ongoing relationship of the two main characters after they graduate from college. Probably the biggest reason I've never heard of it, is because it's a romantic drama. Not really my jam.

What about New England?

No one else in New England seems to give a crap about this show besides us. New Hampshire love a show called "The Perfect Couple", Massachusetts and Vermont both seem to love "Fool Me Once". Rhode Island loves "Monster" and Connecticut is all about "The Gentlemen".

That show I've actually seen and it's great. The others, no. The titles alone would probably scare me off. I'm not a big fan of drama or the rom-com style. The Gentlemen is almost like a quirky, British "Breaking Bad", but different. Really good. Honestly, it should be Maine's top pick. But hey... what do I know?
