It's about time an up-and-coming town like Westbrook, Maine opens up more healthy food chain options. Just as I thought Chick-fil-e was going to be our one and done celebrity chain restaurant in the Rock Row Plaza, I was happily mistaken.

Besides the fact I still believe that Maine needs a drive-thru pizza slice shop, Playa Bowls coming to Westbrook is a dream come true.

Locals are so excited about this that they voluntarily stood in the pouring rain last weekend waiting for their doors to unlock at their grand opening. That's dedication to the playa and we love to see it.

The line of awesome people dying to trying their new favorite smoothie spot was wrapped not once, but twice around the building last Saturday. Yes, I honked on my way home don't worry. Had to hype the crowd up because that'll be me in that line today.

This new location is going to be big trouble for my wallet, I can just see it now since I have to pass it every day on my way home from work. Pray for me not to use my utility cash on daily smoothie bowls please.
