The very first episode of the docuseries focuses directly on Portland, Maine. The nearly 30-minute episode actually focuses less on baseball and more on what makes Portland so vibrant, interesting and why the entire state's love of Sea Dogs has continued on for decades.

As the docuseries pours over Portland, there's a handful of businesses and individuals that shine. Businesses like Highroller Lobster Company as well as Mayo Street Arts get extended time to showcase what they offer and what they mean to the city.

A feisty couple on the street adds some laughs, including explaining to viewers what a sea dog is. Hall-of-Fame mascot Slugger gets plenty of love throughout the documentary, all of it deserved.

But a showcase of Frank Stephens, an usher at Hadlock Field since the Sea Dogs inception in 1994 is a snapshot of the people you'll find in Maine. A mix of humor and kindness.
