The warm weather is here in New Hampshire, and sometimes it gets a little TOO toasty. Maybe you are someone who says things like, "I don't mind the heat, It's better than snow!" Well, you have a valid point. However, I think we can all agree that starting to perspire the minute you walk outside is not a good look for anyone.

Many of us are fortunate to work indoors where AC blasts on us all day long, and we barely have to contend with the heat except when walking to and from our cars. I fall into this category, and consider myself one of the lucky ones. If I am too warm, I become a very unlikeable version of myself. Nobody wants to see that.

If you work outside in these conditions, it is so important to drink plenty of water and take breaks as needed. I'm sure your employer would rather you take it easy than pass out due to heat exhaustion. Please know that I am thinking of all you outdoor workers, and wish I could send an ice cream truck to every single one of your job sites.
