Ho Ho Ho: Powerball Ticket Worth $1 Million Sold in New Hampshire
A ticket sold in New Hampshire for the Christmas Powerball drawing is worth $1 million.
The winning numbers drawn Monday night were 5-12-20-24-29, with a powerball of 4. The power play was 2X, but the holder of the ticket didn't apply it to their purchase which matched all five white numbers.
The winning ticket was sold at Nashua Convenience on Main Dunstable Road in Nashua, according to New Hampshire Lottery spokeswoman Maura McCann.
"Now that’s a GREAT Christmas gift," McCann said.
The Powerball jackpot has been growing for 32 consecutive drawings, starting with the October 14 drawing. Wednesday's jackpot will have an estimated annuity value of $685 million and a cash value of $344.7 million.
Northern New England has been a fairly lucky place for Powerball players in recent months.

October 7 was especially luck,y with a Powerball ticket purchased in Maine that applied a Power Play making it worth $2 milllion. Jonathan Bulmer, a Rockingham County resident, bought a Powerball ticket in Dracut, Massachusetts, for the same drawing, which turned out to be worth $1 million.
