Life Hack: See A Movie For About $5 At These Maine Theaters
These days, mainly because of the crazy level of inflation we have been dealing with for the last few years, a night out is going to cost you! While this is true for a date night, the cost really hits home when you take the entire family out.
Even taking the kids to the new Super Mario Brothers movie can cost upwards of $100. Tickets, popcorn, candy, soda, etc... It all adds up!
What if we told you that you could see a movie for about $5? You probably would not believe us, would you? No, seriously, for real!
Spotlight Cinemas, which has locations in Skowhegan and Orono, have a Tuesday special where they sell all tickets for only $5!
On top of that, they frequently offer cheap tickets ($5 to $7) during their matinee shows. And, in Skowhegan all seniors movies and all kids movies are only $5. In Orono, all kids movies and all senior movies are only $7. Keep in mind that there may be an additional charge for 3D movies.
These are not second run movies, either. They are the newest movies. For example, they currently have the new Super Mario Brothers movie, the Nicholas Cage vampire movie Renfield, and the new John Wick movie.
The two Spotlight Cinemas theaters in Maine are The Strand in Skowhegan and Spotlight Cinemas in Orono.
