Maine’s First Chick-Fil-A Hopes To Open In 2016

The nation's best-selling fast food chicken brand will finally make its way to Maine in 2016.

According to the Bangor Daily News, Chick-Fil-A, the southeastern-based fast food chicken brand will expand to Maine as they hope to open their first restaurant in Bangor by the end of 2016. The restaurant will take up a spot at the Bangor Mall and near the Chipotle restaurant in Bangor.

Chick-Fil-A is planning a major expansion in the northeast in 2016. They will attempt to open restaurants in Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Vermont. Chick-Fil-A is now America's most popular fast food chicken restaurant, surpassing Kentucky Fried Chicken last year according to data from Bloomberg Business.
