Here’s 30 Maine Restaurants We Love to Visit During the Holidays
Maine Restaurants
One of my favorite things to do around the Christmas holiday is take a trip in-state to a new establishment to eat. My wife and I will drive all over based on a review, article, tip, or social media post.
It's fun, adventurous, and always delicious.
While traveling in Maine, we have found amazing diners, great pubs, outstanding sandwich shops, and more. And some of them truly know how to tie in the holiday season and spirit.
Maine's Restaurant Scene
It's fun to get wrapped up spending massive amounts of time discussing and dissecting every little aspect about Maine's restaurant scene. Quite frankly, it deserves it. Whether it's the busy southern coast, western foothills, Midcoast, or Bar Harbor, it doesn't matter where, you will find excellent food.
With this being the case, it's easy for us Mainers to have our favorites. This includes our former neighbors and family who have moved out of state.
However, once a Mainer, always a Mainer. We all have the true staples you never forget about. And when back in Maine, they are a must to hit up, especially when home for the holidays. There's nothing like visiting your favorite spot during the most festive time of year.
Maine Restaurants That Are Perfect for the Holidays
So, we put out the call for the state's best holiday spots; the ones that are worth the drive. These joints aren't just about the food, but also the experience.
Now, thanks to our stations' social media, we can put some names to these establishments.
Below is a list of many of the restaurants, bars, and breweries that were suggested to us. They vary in size, concept, and location. However, they are all true holiday wonders.
Happy holidays, folks. Hope you're hungry.
