The Most Dangerous and Angry Seagulls are in Portland, Maine
You can't convince me otherwise and I'll honestly straight up die on this hill.
The most dangerous, psychotic, vicious, savage seagulls are found in Portland, Maine. Specifically, in the Old Port.
New Hampshire Beaches
Growing up in the Merrimack Valley on the New Hampshire/Massachusetts line, during the summers I'd frequent the beaches along the Seacoast in New Hampshire. And while seagulls would circle the sky above us or waddle along the beach near us, they never really bothered us.
Well, except for the time that a seagull once flew down out of the sky and swiped a sandwich right out of my cousin's hand when he was a little kid. There was also a separate time when a seagull randomly pooped on my cousin's arm.
But neither of those things happened to me, so I still say those Seacoast seagulls are harmless.
The Old Port in Portland, Maine
If you've ever been around the Old Port area of Portland, Maine, then you know seagulls aren't that far away, especially in the Monument Square area. In fact, earlier today within seconds of the wind blowing a donut off of one of the tables in Monument Square onto the ground, a seagull swoop down and swallow it whole.
Followed by about a handful of other seagulls fly to the area, yell at the donut-eating seagull, who yelled back at the other seagulls that showed up -- honestly, it almost became my new favorite reality show.
But even more savage than the Monument Square seagulls mentioned above, are the seagulls that frequent the rooftops of parking garages throughout Portland. I've first-hand witnessed seagulls who have created nests in the corner of parking garages squawk at any passersby, followed by seagulls literally dive-bombing said passersby.
And by passerby, I mean me. It's me, hi, I'm the passerby it's me.
Angry little squawking punks.
