New Maine Brewery Will Donate Proceeds To Veteran Organizations
The new Stars And Stripes Brewery is planning on opening this summer on Varney Road in Freeport. The owner is Brad Nadeau, a combat veteran who served in Iraq during Operation Freedom in 2003.
Brad says the taproom will serve as "a hub to welcome, honor, and support our brave veterans and military families." Stars & Stripes will "raise a toast" and honor veteran organizations by proudly donating a percentage of all proceeds to veteran organizations.
They have 4 year round beers including their flagship beer Semper Fi. P.A., Platoon Pale Ale, Veterans Blonde and Warriors Wheat. Their 3 seasonal beers are Stout & Give Me 20, Warriors Pumpkin Wheat and Warriors Blueberry Wheat and they also offer a couple specialty beers.
They also have some sweet merchandise like hats and t-shirts for sale.
"Enjoy your beer, that's an order." -Brad Nadeau, Founder, Owner, Brewer
