'Tis the season for concert announcements and Bangor will be getting a little louder for one Saturday this summer. Waterfront Concerts announced that Nickelback and Stone Temple Pilots will play Darling's Waterfront Pavilion on Saturday, July 25th.

The show will be part of a special tour for Nickelback who are celebrating the 15th anniversary of their diamond-certified album "All The Right Reasons". That album produced several massive radio singles for the band, including the tracks "Rockstar", "Photograph" and "Far Away". The band plans to play the album cover-to-cover as well as mixing in some other Nickelback favorites.

Stone Temple Pilots will serve as  support on this tour. STP, reformed without their late frontman Scott Weiland, are set to release a new album in February with their new lead singer Jeff Gutt. The reformed band has been touring sporadically over the past two years, mixing some of their new music with iconic hits the band is known for.

Tickets will go on sale for this Thursday, January 23rd at 10am. There are general admission and reserved seating tickets available.
