There was a time not that long ago in Portland, Maine, where finding a quick slice of pizza was a breeze. The city's Old Port district boasted several different joints that offered up pizza-by-the-slice, including the long standing Bill's Pizza and Anthony's Italian Kitchen.

But in more recent times, finding a quick slice has become a little bit more difficult. Following the pandemic, lunch crowds and late night crowds in Portland have been dwindling. That has brought an end to almost all the pizza-by-the-slice businesses.

Recently, Off Track Pizza opened in hopes of reviving the game. And now, another new restaurant hopes to draw back a pizza-by-the-slice lunch crowd.
