Portland, Maine, Monopoly is Here: What Did and Didn’t Make the Board
This might actually make me want to play Monopoly!
From Top Trumps USA (has nothing to do with that Trump) under license by Hasbro, it's here. The new MONOPOLY: Portland, Maine Edition.
Replacing the traditional squares with greater Portland businesses and landmarks, it's fun to see who made the board and what was left off. It even has customized Community Chest and Chance playing cards.
We all had a chance to suggest landmarks, restaurants, or businesses! Here's what made the board.

The Mayor of Portland was on hand at the unveiling recently and said,
With so many great Portland landmarks to choose from, it’s exciting to see which ones earned a spot on the MONOPOLY: Portland, Maine Edition board. We’re proud to have our city associated with the world’s most popular board game.
What's missing from MONOPOLY: Portland, Maine Edition?
I was surprised that the Old Port didn't have a spot. Maybe it's in a Chance or Community Chest card. I would like to see: "In the Old Port with your friends and had your car towed. Pay the bank $75."
The one thing that is NOT Portland-specific is the iconic game pieces. Those are the same, so that everyone can fight over the race car.
Where can I buy my own MONOPOLY: Portland, Maine Edition?
They will be available at some of the stores that are ON the game, and also at CVS and Amazon, just in time for the holidays!
