Many of us love trying new beers but how do you distinguish what makes a good beer good and a bad beer... bad?

Well, I've learned that when you drink a beer it should not have an after taste and a good beer will either be sweet or bitter depending on what the drinker prefers. So I am assuming that if a beer is sour and leaves a linger on your tongue, it's bad.

If that sounds enticing to you then head on over to this year's Bad Beer Bash! This is an actual contest that rates beers from worst to worst-est.

Who doesn't want to see all of those unforgettable facial reactions, gag-moments, and if you're lucky you may even catch a glimpse of someone puking.

This event is brought to you by Eventbrite. It will be held at The Craft Brew Underground in Auburn on Saturday, October 16th at 12pm. The cost is $15 per person and $8 for Mug Club Members.

If you want to enter you receive 10 of the worst beers and your given samples of all. You then rate how awful they are.

According to the Bad beer bash Facebook page, "This is the most fun you can have drinking things that make you sad!" In the end, they give you a good beer to drink! So grab your buckets and bibs and get to drinking!
