Ready for the 2017 Beach to Beacon? Registration is Coming Up in March

Maine's most famous road race is just a few months away, and registration season is coming up in March.

According to the Bangor Daily News, online registration will happen on March 9, 2017, and if last year was any indication, runners will need to be even quicker with their fingers than they are on their feet if they want a bib. In 2016, all 4,000 registration spots were reserved in under four minutes.

The 2016 race saw a record 6,336 runners from 15 countries, and almost $100,000

More than $90,000 in prize money is expected to be awarded.
