Mainers surprise me with their baby names. You can absolutely argue with me on this one, but I feel like lately in the last few years, people have gotten overly creative with the names they choose for their children. On the other hand though, it's kinda cool.

I always think these lists are fun. 2023's top baby names for each gender were just revealed for Maine, and I'm super surprised by the choices.

I don't know about you, but after going through this list, it seems pretty clear to me what the most common last name is here in Maine. What are your thoughts on it?
