Why do we slow down when passing through the overhead tolls?

New Hampshire State Police said a woman from Acton, Maine lost control of her car and flew into a toll booth in Rochester on Sunday.

The York toll plaza is getting a major upgrade, but it's gonna cause major headaches in the meantime.

Commuters throughout the entire state would rejoice if the plan comes to fruition, but many hurdles would have to be jumped over first.
