Thanksgiving Sandwich in Maine Rivals Ross’s Leftovers on ‘Friends’

Anyone else remember the classic 1998 episode of Friends, The One with Ross's Sandwich?

Here's a quick refresher. Monica, of course, is an amazing cook and Ross always enjoys the Thanksgiving leftovers in the form of a sandwich. The pièce de résistance is "The Moist Maker", an extra piece of gravy-soaked bread in the middle

Ross had been going through a lot and that sandwich was the only good thing he had going on and then he discovered a coworker had eaten it. And Ross proceeded to have a meltdown and lose his mind.

"My sandwich? MY SANDWICH?"

If you're like me, you could be watching that episode on June 1st and find yourself craving some Thanksgiving leftovers. Now that we're inching closer to the holiday, Fairgrounds Pizza & Pub in Cornish has rolled out a Thanksgiving Sandwich that might be as good as Ross's.

It's got all the fixin's; mashed potatoes, stuffing, turkey, and gravy all on multigrain bread. All that's really missing is "The Moist Maker" and honestly, with a name like that, I'm more than okay with it.

So, make a trip over to Cornish and get a little taste of Turkey Day a bit early this year. Just make sure if you have any leftovers that you keep them away from your co-workers.
