Fat Boy Drive-In in Brunswick, Maine is a summertime stop for locals and tourists alike. People flock every year for classic and delicious diner food and tasty Maine seafood.
For 2021 Fat Boy truly mixed things up by opening during the winter months bringing some joy to Mainers through the pandemic.
Pandemic Shortages
Like most dining establishments throughout the state and beyond, finding adequate staff to operate has been difficult.
Fat Boy has been able to maintain this summer, but with seasonal staff members returning to school in the coming weeks and a desire to be able to provide the level of service their patrons expect, Fat Boy has Decided to close for the season on September 7th.
End of Season Fun
With the upcoming closing date around the corner, there is still plenty of time to get to Brunswick for some tasty grub and fun. Saturday the 28th they will be holding their 35th Annual Sock Hop and Saturday and Sunday, September 4th and 5th you can visit for an epic view of the Great State of Maine Airshow.
