If you've never been to Funspot in Laconia, New Hampshire, you are missing out on one of the most fantastic video arcades in the world. Whether you grew up in the 80s when quarters were being pumped into games like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Space Invaders or in the 90s playing ticket redemption games hoping to win a prize, Funspot has it all, as well as bowling.

One thing that Funspot lacked for some time was a good selection of working pinball machines. They had many classics from the 90s like Fun House and Addams Family and classics from the 80s, 70s, and 60s as well, but they were often in pretty poor shape. Unlike video games, pinball has a lot of moving parts that constantly need cleaning and repair.

That's all changed now that Funspot has opened Pinball Outpost an area dedicated solely to the silver ball. The entrance looks like something you'd see getting in line at Disney World.

Inside by the door are two of the newest games released by Stern Pinball. The Mandalorian and James Bond 007. Both have Stern's "Insider Connected" which lets you log into the game with your smartphone, earn achievements, and put your score up on leaderboards to compare them to players from all over the world.

Funspot's Pinball Outpost is also a location to play in the New England Pinball League, where players all across New England and of all skill levels get together to compete each week. At the end of the season, we all gather for finals and have an amazing time playing pinball with friends.

Take a trip to Funspot soon to check out the Pinball Outpost and give it a try. I think you'll be hooked.
