Maine's Blue Ribbon Classic is finally here. Starting Sunday October 1st, Maine's largest fair kicks off with all the delicious fair foods, amazing exhibits and exhilarating rides that people come to expect every year. But are there ways to save money while still having all the fun? You bet! Let us help...

IF YOU'RE GOING TO THE FAIR ON SEVERAL DAYS, BUT THE "SEASON PASS"

The Fryeburg Fair offers up an 8-day pass (the season) for $65. Admission on a daily basis is $12, so if you're planning on spending more than 5 days at the fair, it's worth throwing down for the season pass. Spend that extra cash on some deep fried Oreos.

BRING THE KIDS ON THE FIRST SUNDAY AND MONDAY FOR CHEAP RIDES

October 1st and 2nd are the kickoff to the fair, but it's also your chance to snap up a $15 pass for all kiddie mechanical rides from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. That's an 8 hour window for as much kiddie rides as you can endure, and you'll be saving a kiddie boat worth of cash in the process!

WHAT ABOUT ADULTS? THERE'S A PAY-ONE-PRICE PASS FOR YOU TOO!

Tuesday-Thursday and also the last Sunday of the event, the Fryburg Fair offers up a pay-one-price for all mechanical rides for adults. The offer is good from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and cost only 20 bucks. Keep the extra cash in your wallet, or spend it all on winning that big stuffed teddy bear!

BRINGING GRANDMA AND GRANDPA? THEY GET IN FREE ON TUESDAY!

Tuesday is senior citizen's day at the Fryeburg Fair. Anyone who is 65 years or older gets free admission to the fair. Perfect for Nana and Papa who just want to see a few livestock exhibits and maybe crush a game of bingo.

DON'T LEAVE BEFORE THE NIGHT SHOWS....BECAUSE THEY'RE ALL FREE!

From Monday through Saturday, the Fryeburg Fair offers up night shows completely free to everyone in attendance. In years past, the fair has hosted some major acts before their big break. This year, they have another slate of great entertainment, check out the lineup here!

Despite the heat wave lately, it's still time to get in fair mode. Use some of our suggestions to save some dough, or just do your own thing and enjoy it!
